We are all unique but maybe some people are more so than others. Some of the physical characteristics of the men you will read about here will cause you to wonder whether they are actually real. Many of these men hold world records. So it proves that being different is not all that bad. Being unique means being extraordinary. While you read the following list, just remember that these men are all real. 1. Sultan Kosen Many people describe Sultan Kosen, of Turkey as a giant. This is because he towers over everyone with a confirmed height of 8 ft 2.8 in. He holds the Guinness World Record for being the tallest living male. Kosen also holds the current Guinness record for the largest hands. It was diagnosed that his massive height was a result of a condition known as pituitary gigantism. It is the outcome of excessive growth hormone production. He had to receive medical treatment to stop his growth. He is married to Merve Dibo who is just 5 feet 9 inches tall. 2. Larry Gomez We often hear of loving the skin you’re in but Larry Gomez is showing the world that he is loving the hair he’s in. Gomez, from California, is the world's hairiest man. Ninety-eight percent of his entire body is covered in fluffy dark hair, thus, he has earned the nickname “Wolf Man.” Gomez was born with hypertrichosis also known as Werewolf syndrome, an extreme uncommon disorder that causes excessive hair growth. Even his face is covered in a thick covering. Several of his family members suffer from this genetic disorder which affects less than one hundred people worldwide. 3. Tom Staniford  Tom Staniford suffers from a rare genetic mutation known as MDP syndrome which is also called mandibular dysplasia with deafness and progeroid features. This condition prevents his body from storing any fat beneath his skin. This Englishman is a para-cyclist and in 2011, he was the National Para-Cycling Circuit Race Champion. He suffers with poor flexibility of his limbs, connective tissue disorders which affect his hands and feet, diabetes type-2 and moderate hearing loss. 4. Francisco Domingo Joaquim We all have various talents but the talent that Joaqium possesses is weird to say the least. He is known for having the world's widest mouth. A few years ago, his enormous mouth stunts on YouTube caught the attention of the entire world. In 2011, he broke the record for the world's biggest mouth, according to Guinness. He has no trouble putting a can of coke in his mouth. His mouth measures 17 cm. Joaquim’s mouth is elastic and can stretch in all directions. 5. Gary Turner Gary Turner currently holds the Guinness world record for the stretchiest skin. He earned this record in 1999, after stretching the skin on his abdomen to 6.25 inches. This is the result of a rare genetic disorder called Ehlers-Danlos syndrome. This allows him to stretch his skin extensively making his circus performances a hit. Turner is often referred to as an elastic man. He has the ability to stretch the skin from his neck to completely cover his lower jaw. Can you do that?
